iGR Smartphone & Tablet Trackers

As part of all its ongoing market research, iGR conducts monthly studies of mobile consumers. The data arising from these surveys informs a great deal of our work and opinion. iGR fields additional surveys of both consumers and other “demographics” – e.g., mobile developers, IT managers at large, medium and small businesses.

iGR offers four sales trackers for smartphones and tablets covering the U.S. and Latin American markets. Each tracker provides a sales estimate and forecast for each major OEM (Apple, RIM, Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC, etc) and OS (iOS, BlackBerry/QNX, Android, etc), together with updates on new product and discussion as to the relative strengths and weaknesses of each OEM and OS in the market.

U.S. Monthly Smartphone & Tablet Sales Trackers

For clients that require more granular information, iGR also offers monthly sales trackers for the U.S. market for smartphones and tablets. As with the other trackers, data is split by major OEM and OS.

U.S. Quarterly Smartphone Sales Tracker

Provides estimates of quarterly sales data for the major OEMs and OS in the U.S. smartphone market. As well as a historical view, the tracker also provides a forecast of the next quarter’s estimated sales and market shares.

U.S. Quarterly Tablet Sales Tracker

Using the same approach as the smartphone tracker, the tablet tracker provides estimates of quarterly sales data for the major OEMs and OS in the U.S. tablet market. As well as a historical view, the tracker also provides a forecast of the next quarter’s estimated tablet sales and market share shifts.

Latin America Quarterly Smartphone Sales Tracker

Provides estimated quarterly sales data for the major OEMs and OS in the Latin American market, including breakouts for Brazil and Mexico, plus forecasts for the next quarter’s anticipated sales activity.
